I’m sorry I haven’t posted a new episode in a while, but if you haven’t heard (although I would be terribly surprised if you hadn’t), Insim is going through a bit of a rough patch right now, what with being sold to the highest bidder without the members or even the staff knowing and Uncle Walt pissing everyone off something fierce. It’s mighty fine drama and all my sims time is going into keeping up with the details (and the lulz). But apparently the Insim servers went splode (you can probably thank Pescado for that). Delicious drama it is, and mighty angry I am. So until it all dies down a bit, I’ll be spending my time at the Phorum, and Insim, if it ever comes back.
Those of you who own sites, servers and domains, please consider taking in some of the Insim refugees who pulled their creations when shit hit the fan and are now looking for a new place to host their things.

Holy crap, I had no idea. Good thing I grabbed the InSim update when I did. Yikes. I hope they get something figured out–that was a pretty big community.
I guess I have kind of fallen out of the community loop.
Pescado is running a machine battlefleet designed to make a mirror of Insim and give it to the ex-staff there. He’s asking everyone to stay away from the site, as the hordes of people trying to log on melts the servers and makes backing everything up near impossible.
But yes, Insim imploded into oblivion. We’ll see where it goes, but if Pescado and Delphy manage to pull together, Insim may become the same, only better in the future.
I hadn’t heard, but then I try to ignore the world outside my head whenever possible so I can continue deluding myself.
I haven’t read through all (90 and counting) pages at the Phorum yet, though I did get few giggles out of what I did read and now I regret my vow to bury my head in the sand and pretend I rule the world! I missed some prime drama from the sounds of it.
Oh god, thats why the site is so hard to enter lately. Thank god i downloaded every hack i need before the drama. Imagine Al without insim, nightmare!
