Keeping Busy February 5, 2009

Right, so I burned out a bit. I want to keep the game and this story interesting for me and for that to happen, I need to take a little break from this blog. Nothing extravagant, just a week or two of not worrying about it will be plenty. After that, updates! Lots of them!

I’ll probably be doing that for a while, and some small projects I’ve been meaning to do for ages. I can probably squeeze in some story updates, but no promises.

My apologies for the lack of updates lately. I’ve been in the hospital (and away from my computer) for quite a while, so I haven’t been able to work on anything new lately. I’m all better now, so as soon as I catch up with everything I’ll be ready to continue making stories. I hope you understand and stick with me a little longer.

New Sims up for download December 11, 2008

I’ve added some Sims I used for a contest to the Downloads section. They’re on page two. I put a lot of effort into them so it would be a shame to let them go to waste. I hope someone finds a use for them!

As for the story, the next episode requires a shitload of sets, cc and sims, as well as loads of coordinated kermitflailing, but it’s being made. Real life issues allowing it will be up later this week. I know it’s been slow lately, but rest assured, I’m working on it!

Custom Content page updated! November 21, 2008

Well, I’ve finally got around to adding the custom content I used in the stories and you can find it here. If you’re looking for the custom content used in the Elemental Fury storyline, they’re on page two (easy to miss). As always, if you notice that something you recognise is not on this list, use the contact form to let me know whom to credit!

The next chapter in Elemental Fury will be up this weekend (Monday at the latest) as well as the necessary additions to the Cast page. Updates may slow down a bit as I’ve got real life matters to attend to, but they will continue at an acceptable rate (at least I hope it’s acceptable).

GIMP-fu November 5, 2008

My GIMP-fu; let me show you it.

I managed to slap together a new banner and I actually think it looks rather neat for my first try. A lot better than the old one in any case. It hardly merits a post of it’s own, I know, but I’m going to show off either way because that damn thing took me three (3!) hours to make. So there.

The Sims in the banner are characters I may or may not use in upcoming stories, but they’re some of my favourites nonetheless and I thought they’d look neat on the banner. You know, in case you were wondering. You’ll be seeing those two non-alien girls on the left in a story very soon.

While I’m writing a post anyway, I might as well let you know the next and final episode of the Wraith story will be up tomorrow. After that a whole new Area 52 story will commence. Working title: Elemental Fury. I’m positively giddy at the prospect of starting a new story, so you won’t have to wait long for that one.
