Here’s where I’ll try to answer a few questions I’ve received here and on the previous incarnation of this blog, try to anticipate what questions may become frequently asked and make a few points of my own. If you have any questions feel free to use the Contact page.

Another Strangetown alien blog? Yawn.
Not exactly. Yes, there are aliens and yes, the first story arc is entirely about them, but rest assured that Area 52 is in no way like Strangetown. It will be a place where aliens as well as a multitude of strange and wondrous sims come together, not just the typical green Maxis alien we’ve all come to love/despise/ignore. So even though the founding of Area 52 has everything to do with aliens, the rest of the blog will be more diverse.
That hair/outfit/object/sim is lovely, where can I get it?
Right here. If it’s not on that list, I haven’t got a clue either, or I haven’t bothered to update the list yet. Whatever the reason, don’t ask. You’re free to post pictures from this blog on WCIF forums though.
What rating is Swinging on a Star? Will the chilluns explode if they read it?
I’m pretty sure they won’t. For now, there’s a little coarse language and one pic containing some blood, but that’s it. I make no promises for the future though. If anything too vulgar or shocking happens, I’ll be sure to put a warning up before the actual post. And if you’re worried about the chilluns, feel free to browse the blog and see for yourself.
Every time I come here the pages and posts have been shuffled around. What gives?
I’m still in the process of arranging this blog juuust the way I like it with the limited tools free blogging software offers. Give it some time. I’m sure I’ll eventually settle on something we can both live with in relative comfort.

I’ve made an effort to contain all my pirate-y bile on one page only (two if you count the custom content page) and try not to let it affect the blog. If you are not okay with this, you should be fine as long as you stay away from that page. You’re not required to download any pay stuff from the booty either. If you’re dead set on having a certain pay item, I’m sure you’ll be able to figure out what pay site they’re from. You’ll be parting with your hard-earned cash in no time! (I’ve never stolen anything sims-related, by the way. All of that stuff is paid for. Just not by me.)

Most of my ‘pirate’ links point to either PMBD and pages TSR is somewhat upset about. From time to time things get a little hectic in that little corner of the sims community with people disappearing and ‘hot’ posts being taken down. I try to keep all my links alive, but I’ve got tons of them and they’re hard to maintain, especially if they’re part of ongoing debates and various plunderings. But please feel free to let me know if one of them is down again. I’ll do my best to keep them all up.
